    Description

Here we have an original, vintage
    beanie cap
    , a
    souvenir
    of a visit to
    Expo 67
in Montreal, Canada. This exposition, held in 1967, celebrated the centennial of Canada as a nation. The red and white cap has a tassle on top, and a printed shield in the form of the then-new Canadian flag, with the usual maple leaf replaced by the Expo 67 trademark maple leaf made up of eleven triangles, representing the provinces and territories as they were at the time. The beanie measures approximately 10" / 25.4cm in diameter and is in good vintage condition, with some only some light soiling and no rips, tears or moth damage. Please see photos for details.
