The eagle platter was created in the spirit of the
exsisting style that the
Chinese export for the West
is known for by exhibiting a riot of color and fantastic animal images.
The Eagle platter is an adaptaion of one that existed 1750-60 with an early depciton of the colonial American Eagle.
The shape of the platter is curvacious with lattice border in matte burnished gold and accent flowers.
Measures 10.5" length
