Beautiful Mottahedeh Flower Frog Bowl from England
This is a very pretty flower frog bowl created by Mottahedeh in England. The pattern is adapted from Japanese Kakiemon of the seventeenth century. This is all written on the bottom of the bowl. This is a more difficult pattern to find rather than the blue and white normally seen. The top has 5 large holes that are just about 1.25 inches in diameter and 21 much smaller holes that are about .25 inches diameter. The bowl has no chips or cracks, there is a little scrape of the green paint near the edge on one of the florals on the top. This is not really that noticeable.
The piece measures 6.25 inches across the top and sits 3 inches tall.
