Description
Selling are 2 advertisement pages for:Expo67
from 1967
Technicaly Expo 67 was not a World’s Fair, like the ’39 one in New York. Its official designation was ‘The Universal and International Exhibition of 1967’. I’m sure nobody actually called it that though. It was located on some manmade islands in the city of Montreal, Quebec.
One of the advertisements is a 3-page foldout with many photos promoting different aspects of Montreal. A 4th page (which is on the back of the 1st page) has pictures of attractions at Expo.
This ad is one large piece of paper, approx. 21” x 10”, folded in thirds, carefully removed from a 1967 magazine.
The second advertisement shows a photo of the U.S.S.R. pavilion and the country’s flag. Ad text starts “Look what the Russians are building, just 40 miles from the USA. As an American, you should look into it” and goes on about the Russian pavilion (and others) there.
This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from a 1967 magazine.
